Become a Computer Forensics Expert

After taking our series of advanced forensics training courses, you’ll earn the designation of Certified Computer Forensics Professional (CCEF). The courses last three to four days and are held at our Houston offices.

Level 1: CCE Boot Camp

The first step is the CCE (Certified Computer Examiner) Boot Camp. This four-and-a-half day course teaches you to thoroughly examine computer files and components to find evidence that will hold up in court.

Level 2: Windows Forensics

During three days of hands-on training, you’ll learn all you need to know about the Windows system, including how to examine and extract data from its registry files.

Level 3: The Science of Cryptology

You’ll learn how to decipher passwords and codes to retrieve electronic files the owner has attempted to hide.

Level 4: Network and Internet Forensics

In this course, you’ll examine network-related and Internet certificates. Also learn how to extract valuable evidence from instant messages and emails.

Level 5: Cell phones, PDAs, Blackberrys, and more

In addition to finding hidden evidence on these mobile communication devices, you’ll also learn how to prepare the evidence for presentation in court.

Level 5E: Computer Forensic Expert Witness Course

In this course, you’ll learn how to effectively present your case and evidence to make the desired impact on the judge and jury.
